Types of EV Charging

There are three core types of electric vehicle charging:

Level 1:

Level 1 charging is achieved through regular household outlets. Though it may take over a day to reach a full charge, you can easily plug your Ford EV into most outlets already present in your home.

Level 2:

With Level 2 charging, you can achieve a full charge overnight. There are many public Level 2 charging stations in Maryland, and you can also get a Level 2 charger installed at home.

Level 3:

Otherwise known as DC fast charging, Level 3 stations are the quickest EV chargers -- often allowing you to recharge most of your battery in under an hour.
